At the end of a period the program will determine which company is awarded each
available project. The lowest bid will not necessarily win since the computer takes
into account several other factors:
Are you able to get a bond for the job? All public jobs
require the contractor to have a bond.
Is the bid price so low that the job customer believes it will not cover costs? If so,
then the bid will be disregarded as irresponsible and be rejected.
Is the company already overloaded with work (has too many jobs in progress)?
The lowest bid meeting these requirements will be awarded the job. In addition to player
companys' bids, computer-controlled contractors bid on every job. If a computer controlled
company submits the lowest bid that company will get the job.
