Bid Closing

Bid Closing

At the end of a period the program will determine which company is awarded each available project. The lowest bid will not necessarily win since the computer takes into account several other factors:
  • Are you able to get a bond for the job? All public jobs require the contractor to have a bond.
  • Is the bid price so low that the job customer believes it will not cover costs? If so, then the bid will be disregarded as irresponsible and be rejected.
  • Is the company already overloaded with work (has too many jobs in progress)?

The lowest bid meeting these requirements will be awarded the job. In addition to player companys' bids, computer-controlled contractors bid on every job. If a computer controlled company submits the lowest bid that company will get the job.
